6 Windows ShortCuts You Should Know

Here are 6 Windows shortcuts you should know:

1. Open link in new tab
While opening a link in new tab, everyone's general approach is- Right click on the link & go to open in new tab.

But, you can open a link in new tab by ctrl + click & link will open in new tab. This will reduce a lot of efforts.

2. Opening cmd at any location
If you want to open a particular folder in cmd or vice-versa, never follow this approach:
open cmd>cd folder_name>...
It will take a lot of time.

However, you just, simply go to that folder, where you want to open the cmd and then, type cmd in the address bar. Command Prompt will open at that location.

3. Restore recently closed tab
Restore an accidentally closed tab by pressing Ctrl + Shift + T and the tab will magically reappear. You can use the shortcut multiple times to open a succession of your closed tabs.

4. Highlight the URL
Press Ctrl + L to automatically select and highlight the current site’s URL. It’s really useful for quickly sharing links or copying them into a new tab.

This will, also select any window folder's address.

5. Switching the open tabs
ALT + Tab is one of the most common keyboard shortcuts on Windows, it will let you flick between the various programs that are currently open.

6. Closing the current tab

CTRL + F4 will close the browser's current tab. This is a very handy shortcut while surfing.
